Neon Drift Rally

Neon Drift Rally doesn't care about simulation. It wants you sideways, holding a drift through three corners while the boost meter fills. The controls are tilt or tap — I preferred tap, with one side to steer and a single pedal that handles the rest. It clicks fast once you stop fighting it.

The tracks are short loops drenched in color, and the sense of speed is genuinely thrilling on a phone. Beating your own best time became a quiet obsession. There are rival ghosts to chase, which adds just enough pressure without being mean about it.

It gets repetitive if you binge it, so I kept it in the rotation for quick bursts. As a pick-up-and-blast racer, though, it nails the feel.
