Tidy Town
★★★★☆ 4.0
Tidy Town is the kind of game I reach for when I want to unwind. You lay out roads, drop in houses and shops, and watch little residents move in and go about their day. There's no fail state and no pressure — just a steady drip of small, satisfying goals.
Management is light. You balance happiness and a bit of income, but it never turns into a spreadsheet. I mostly played it for the pleasure of rearranging my town until it looked just right. The zoom-and-drag controls are smooth and forgiving.
It won't challenge you, and that's the point. As a gentle, low-stakes builder it does exactly what it sets out to do.
